"Amazing female-owned local business. The staff is incredible and always there for questions and concerns. The classes for kids and adults are enjoyable as much as they are educational. Would recommend this family-focused martial arts studio to anyone in and around Richmond Hill."

An instructor coaching young students in sparring gear Ask us anything
Do I need any experience to start Taekwondo?

Not at all. Most of our students begin as complete beginners. Our white belt and all-levels classes are designed to teach the fundamentals at a comfortable pace, so you or your child can build skills and confidence from day one.

How old does my child need to be to start?

We welcome students as young as 3.5 in our Juniors (Tiny Tigers) program for ages 3.5 to 6, with Kids Taekwondo for ages 6 to 12 and Teen and Adult classes for ages 13 and up. Each class is grouped by age so students train with peers at a similar stage.

What is Taekwondo and what will I learn?

Taekwondo is a Korean martial art known for its dynamic kicks, structured belt progression, and emphasis on discipline and respect. Students develop self-defense skills, focus and fitness while working toward their next belt.

Do you offer a free trial class?

Yes. We offer a free trial class so you or your child can experience a session firsthand before enrolling. It is the best way to meet our instructors, see the community and feel the energy of the dojang.

What should we wear to the first class?

Comfortable athletic clothing is perfect for a trial class. Once enrolled, students receive a Taekwondo uniform (dobok). Just bring water and a willingness to learn, and we will take care of the rest.

What makes OMAC Richmond Hill different?

We focus on more than kicks and punches. Under Head Master Saeed, our programs build confidence, focus and character alongside martial arts skill. From Tiny Tigers to adults, plus after-school care, camps and birthday parties, we support Richmond Hill families well beyond the mat.

Is it safe for my child?

Yes. Classes are age-grouped, instructors are certified black belts, and every drill is taught progressively with proper safety equipment. The facility is brand new, spacious and kept spotless.
